Dead Man Walks Back Home After 7 Months

Last time it was about “dead man dies” on K24 but this time on KTN (11th May 2012), it was about a young man probably in his mid twenties who came back home in Sirisia, Bungoma 7 month after his burial. George Simiyu said he was shocked on getting the news that his parents had already buried him. He vowed he wouldn’t move back to his home until they dig up the body of the man they buried in his place. His mother nevertheless welcomed him back though his father still vowed his son was dead despite George telling him to accept the fact he was still alive and had come back home. One thing is for certain; he’s lucky he wasn’t lynched to death like his other friend…(-_-)

  1. Gido Kibukosya entered a Nairobi Wines and Spirits shop last January, wielding a kitchen knife and disguised with a mask. Police say the man then threatened to “use the knife” if store employee did not give him money. The store employee was not about to give in to demands. The employee leapt over the counter, grabbed a display sign, and proceeded to beat Gido with it.
Ultimately, the man’s mask came off and his face was revealed. He turned out to be the same person that they had chased when he last attempted to buy spirits as he appeared drunk on changaa and was smoking bhangi in public.
On April 12, Gido pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years in prison.
