Take A Leap Of Faith

Most of the time,people often shy away from taking a risk opting to let others take it then follow. There’s a quote that goes something like (paraphrased):”Don’t follow the footsteps of someone else, go ahead and leave you own trail”. Many successful ventures out there had humble beginnings and the people who head them today started of by using what they had in their hands and imagination. Steve Jobs(RIP) and Steve Wozniak for example, started off aged 16 and 21 respectively. Apple had its first Headquarters in Cupertino, CA, in Paul and Clara Jobs(Job’s parent) GARAGE! (The picture on the left) The Steve’s and their small team (Ron Wayne was the third founder of Apple) built the first handful generation of Apple computers whose parts they outsourced from different distributors in the small garage. Job’s dad had to remove the car and his other beloved items so that he could accommodate Apples very first headquarters. Today, that very same garage start-up is the most profitable technology company in the world. It’s recent fiscal results that it made public in January 24,2012, stated Apple had made a record quarterly revenue of $46.33 billion and a record quarterly net profit of 13.06 billion. It achieved this by selling:

• 37.04 million iPhones.
• 15.43 million iPads.
• 5.2 million Macs.

All this was majorly as a result of 2 Steve’s hard labor, smart work and taking a leap of faith.

I’ll stop the Apple documentary right there and save the rest for another day but we here at Scopegater do hope that as you’ve read the above you shall also take a leap of faith to start something or continue on with it, remember that if you want to see the sunrise, you have to wake up with the early worm which sad to say gets eaten by the early bird.Don’t let “the early birds” in your life worry you.
