We last time looked at who the Father of blogging is as well as which was the very first blog so today I thought it would be a great idea to look at some of the most popular WordPress blogs on the planet and to be specific, the 10 most popular WordPress blogs on the planet.
WordPress was started in 2003 out of a desire for elegant and well-structured personal publishing system and it has for the past decade or so grown to become one of the most popular blogging platforms that there is and according to Blogging.org’s blogging statistic, it is the preferred blogging platform with 43% of bloggers opting to use it while Blogger follows closely at 35% and the remaining 22% is shared out among the rest of the blogging platforms like Tumblr, Typepad and Posterous.
I decided to list the 10 most popular WordPress blogs on the planet in a sort of a table form where I’ve included their respective Page Rank, Alexa Traffic Rank and total sites linking in i.e. Backlinks.
