Kevin Harrington is an American business executive and investor who is widely regarded to as the pioneer of the infomercial industry and during his career, he has been directly involved with the launches of hundreds of products which have resulted in billions of sales. Kevin Harrington Ventures Into Business
In 1984, Kevin Harrington was among the first to produce a 30 minute infomercial and this is what landed him the title “Principal Pioneer of The Infomercial”. Since then, he’s been involved with the launch of over 500 products which on a worldwide scale have grossed over $4 billion in sales and 20 of these products have generated individual sales of over $100 million.
In the mid-1980s, Kevin Harrington founded his first company called Quantum International, Ltd but it was later merged into National Media Corporation in 1991. Under his leadership as the CEO, the National Media Corporation recorded $500 million in sales with distributions in over 100 countries and 20 different languages. Their success was chronicled at the Harvard /MIT for over a decade.
After leaving National Media in 1994, Kevin Harrington formed a joint venture with The Home
Shopping Network and co-founded HSN Direct International Inc., where he served as its Chief Executive Officer till 1997. He also co-founded Reliant Interactive Media Corp. and was its Chairman and CEO until 2004 when he became the CEO of ResponzeTV America, LLC.
In 2002, Kevin Harrington became President of Harrington Business Development Inc., Chairman of On Tv, Inc., Vice Chairman and Director of Thane International Inc. and the Director of Reliant International Inc. He left the two latter positions in 2003.
In 2007, he became the Chief Executive Officer of ResponzeTV Plc and the Executive Director of ResponzeTV Plc, but he later left both positions in 2008. He was also the Director of Infusion Brands International, Inc. from 2006 to 2008.
In 2010, Kevin Harrington joined the Advisory Board at AbsolutelyNew, Inc. and became the Chairman and Senior Executive Officer of H & H Imports Inc.
In 2011, Harrington’s company TVGoods, Inc. acquired the web property AsSeenonTV.com. AsSeenOnTV.com represents a highly trafficked catalog of direct response products and has over two million customers, 700,000 email registrants and hundreds of thousands of unique visitors every month.
During his business career, Kevin Harrington has helped establish two of the most recognized and important global networking associations which are:
