- The Kula Kangri which is the 47th highest mountain in the world has had a couple of disputes surrounding its location. It’s claimed by several authorities to be located in Bhutan which would make it the highest mountain in Bhutan though this has been disputed by others who claim that Kula Kangri is located in Tibet.
- The 1954 elevation of Everest, 29,028 ft. (8,848 m) was revised on Nov. 11, 1999, and now stands at 29,035 ft. (8,850 m).
