Emily Cinnamon Alvarez is the eldest daughter of Mexican boxer Canelo Álvarez (Saúl Álvarez). Her mother is Karen Beltrán, Canelo’s ex-wife.

Emily Cinnamon Alvarez Early & Family Life

Emily Cinnamon Alvarez was born in Mexico to parents Santos Saúl Álvarez Barragán, popularly known as Saúl Álvarez or Canelo Álvarez, and Karen Beltrán.

Canelo and Karen met while in high school and soon became love birds.

They got Emily, their first child soon afterwards in 2008 (according to a September 2022 article by The Sun, under the section “The Apple Of His Eye”, it states and I quote:

“His eldest daughter Emily Cinnamon Alvarez, 14, is the most important person in the world to him”

If we do some simple math, we see that Emily was actually born in 2008 i.e. 2022-14 = 2008.

Please ignore the other irrelevant information being shared online about Emily Cinnamon Alvarez age.

They were both 17 years old.

Unfortunately, things didn’t work out between Canelo and Karen and they split up. 

In 2021, Canelo married Fernanda Gómez; a model, businesswoman and social media influencer.

Her step-siblings are Saúl Adiel Álvarez, Mía Ener Álvarez and María Fernanda Álvarez.

We don’t know whether Karen Beltrán is currently married or single.

It is worth noting that Canelo Álvarez is a Mexican professional boxer who has competed in Middleweight, Light heavyweight, Super middleweight, Welterweight, Light middleweight and Light welterweight divisions.

His current titles include; IBF World Super Middle, WBA Super World Super Middle, WBC World Super Middle and WBO World Super Middle

Unfortunately, we don’t know the name of the school she was in or will be going to.

Emily Cinnamon Alvarez is passionate about horses and this has led her to be an equestrian, which according to Wikipedia refers to horse riding and includes the disciplines of riding, driving, and vaulting.

According to Fédération Équestre Internationale, Emily Cinnamon Alvarez who competes for Mexico currently has 28 starts in the jumping section.

In 2021, her individual rank was 15 in the Continental/Regional Championships that was held in Traverse City, MI. She was riding Alizee Imperiale, a 12-year-old mare (an adult female horse)

Her team won a silver medal for second place.

Other horses she has ridden in the past are Diamant Des Foyes and Barbate.

Emily Cinnamon Alvarez Personal Life

Emily prefers to keep a low profile though she has from time to time been spotted in public with her father.

Despite her parents not being together, she and her dad are pretty close and she is his number one fan and biggest supporter.

So much so that in 2018, before Canelo Álvarez took on Gennady Golovkin in their 2018 rematch, he got a tattoo of her face on his arm, just so she could be in the ring with him.

She is definitely following in her father’s footsteps though in a different less brutal sport.
