Top 50 Highest Earning Blogs

Blogging has been known by some to be what I would call a “charitable hobby” whereas others have made it into an income generating activity.

The latter are online entrepreneurs who have come to be recognized as some of the industry’s highest earning bloggers and they have revolutionized the entire blogging arena and thanks to them, many other bloggers have found the courage (and motivation) to pursue what they love doing best-Blogging!

In this article, I have come up with SOME of the highest earning blogs (courtesy of onlineincometeacher) which make up our Top 50 Highest Earning Blogs but let me add that the figures you’re about to see are merely just estimates.

Why Estimates for the Top 50 Highest Earning Blogs?

When it comes to compiling any form of data especially numerical data, it can be a bit challenging to get the exact figures because of variations and that’s why the Top 50 Highest Earning Blogs are estimates of what these blogs might be worth.

Personally I’ve been blogging for a couple of months now and I can say that though at first it wasn’t as merry as I thought it would be (there’s a day I got only one visit when I first started), I can say that things are now looking up and the above top 50 highest earning blogs/ Highest Earning Blogs are certainly stirring up some strength from within and i hope if you’re a blogger, especially a first time blogger, you’ll keep your eyes fixed on the prize and use the challenges you find along the way as stepping stones and I’m sure one day you’ll be the one on the list.

As for the bloggers present on the Top 50 Highest Earning Blogs/Highest Earning Blogs list, all i can say is CONGRATULATIONS!

  1. Before posting your ‘well researched’ article, please make sure it does not have basic errors. AOL bought huff post and Techcrunch ages ago. How can you say mashable is worth 11 million, yet CNN wants to buy it for 200 million.

    1. Hi James,the above info was as from 2010 though it was released in 2011, the same way national examinations are released the following year despite them being sat for the previous year. AOL bought Techcrunch and Huffington post in 2010 and 2011 respectively.The buy out price that was reported by Reuters blogger Felix Salmon has been termed as remarkably high since Mashable has about 9.5 million visitors according to measurement service Quantcast and 24/7 Wall Streets annual blog valuation puts its value closer to $40 million with some believing its revenue is somewhere between $10-$15 million.Lets not forget that the Huffington post was acquired at $315 million despite it generating $31 million in revenues in 2010(New York Times).All in all,i think they usually have their own set of reasons behind such acquisitions.
