Olivia Namath is the second-born and last-born daughter of renowned NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Namath.

Her father played in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons, mainly for the New York Jets. He is also an actor.

Her mother Deborah Mays is an actress, best known for playing “Tammy” in the TV series The Greatest American Hero which aired between 1981 – 1983.

Olivia Namath was born in 1991 in the United States to parents Joe Namath (father) and Deborah Mays (mother).

Her father’s full name is Joseph William Namath.

At the time of her birth, her father was 48 while her mother was 31 (they have a 17-year age difference).

Her parents Joe and Deborah met in 1983 while taking a voice class. Deborah would later change her first name to May and then to Tatiana. 

They married in 1984 with Joe Namath saying “she caught my last pass”. 

Jessica Namath who is her elder sister was born in 1986, 5 years before Olivia was born.

Unfortunately, her parents divorced in 2000, when she was just 9 years old.

Afterwards, Olivia and her elder sister Jessica Namath lived with their father Joe Namath in Florida.

Olivia gave birth to her daughter Natalia in May 2007 when she was just 16 years old.

Olivia Namath Run In With The Law

Olivia Namath was arrested in 2010 for being in possession of a pile of marijuana during a Florida traffic stop.

An open bottle of rum was also found in her car.

According to a police report, a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy spotted Olivia who was 19 then, in a silver Mercedes speeding on Sunday around midnight.

After approaching the car and checking her driver’s license, the deputy smelled what proved to be marijuana.

Police searched her car and found a bag of “leafy greens” on the driver’s side floorboard, which later tested positive for marijuana, 

They then searched the trunk and found 200.5 grams of pot packed in baggies (about half a pound).

Olivia Namath “denied any knowledge” of the marijuana. She was travelling with two men at the time.

She was charged with two counts of marijuana possession, including one with intent to sell and with possession of alcohol by a minor.

She was later released on a $3,000 bond.

Her husband Edwin Barker III has also had several run-ins with the law. 

A few years back he was arrested for robbing a McDonald’s joint and running away with $10,000 by threatening the manager. 

He has also been imprisoned for cocaine and marijuana possession.
