Her parents met on the set of the film “Nowhere Boy” in 2009, when her father Aaron Taylor-Johnson was 18 years old and her mother Sam Taylor-Johnson was 42 years old.

A year later, Wylda was born and her younger sister Romy Hero Johnson followed on January 18, 2012.

This was revealed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson in 2017 during the Golden Globe awards, where he accepted the award for Best Supporting Actor. 

He mentioned that while he was accepting the award, Wylda Rae was having a playdate with Aviana Olea Le Gallo.

He is quoted as saying:

“Yes, my daughter and Amy’s daughter are good friends so they’re hanging out. A little sleepover!”

It is not clear when the two girls became friends, but it is likely that they met through their parents’ connection in the entertainment industry. 

We can assume that Wylda and Aviana Olea Le Gallo have remained friends through the years, and are still friends to date.

Wylda had an accident in the summer of 2020, and her mother Sam Taylor-Johnson revealed on her Instagram page that she had broken her arm. 

Despite the accident, her parents have continued to keep her and her younger sister away from the public eye, and her mother did not show her face in the post she shared about her injury.
