Running in the rain
As I have said before, I am quite the fitness freak. I have just confirmed this when I found myself heading out to run in the middle of a mini-storm. I actually did more than three kilometres despite the dripping track wear that made the whole experience even harder. The grass was wet and every step I took required a great deal of effort. With every lap I did the rain seemed to pound even harder, but there was no way I was going to stop. Running is like a drug for me and if I do not get my fix then my body just won’t operate as it should.
So there I was, the cold rain drops pounding my face as if to say “what the hell is wrong with you”. And that is how you should live your life, do what you love despite every hurdle that presents itself. Never let anyone or anything get you off your track (in my case quite literally so). If you cannot do what you love then what is the reason for living? So go out and chase your dreams and passions; people and situations might try and strike them down but they cannot take them away from you; you own them. Be happy!
