Pamela Icke: Career
Pamela Icke has a professional background in financial services.
Her career path led her to attend a financial services conference in Jamaica in 1997, where she would later meet her future husband, David Icke.
It was at this conference, held at the same hotel where Icke was giving a talk, that their paths crossed and they first met.
Despite the limited information available about Pamela Icke’s personal life, her work in the financial services industry highlights her professional accomplishments and provides some insight into her background.
Pamela Icke: Marriage
Pamela Leigh Richards, David Icke’s second and ex-wife, had a daughter from a previous marriage before she met Icke.
In August 1997, she was attending a financial services conference in Jamaica, where Icke was giving one of his talks.
According to her, she was intrigued by what she heard and was mesmerized by Icke’s words.
Regarding this first encounter, she is quoted as having said:
“You could have heard a pin drop when David spoke. I came away with the knowledge that the world is not what I thought it was and I learned about its reptilian aspect.
I went up to David afterwards to thank him, but at that time I was not romantically attracted to him.”
The two of them met again three months later in Aruba, and this time they started a romantic relationship.
They were married in a simple ceremony in Newport county court on the Isle of Wight and settled in Ryde.
The wedding was attended by Icke’s three children from his marriage to Linda Atherton – his daughter Kerry Icke and sons Jaymie Icke and Gareth Icke. The wedding reception was in a local pub.
David and Pamela Icke lived a happily conventional married life in Ryde, with Pamela remaining ever supportive of Icke’s increasingly bizarre theories e.g. that Princess Diana was assassinated by a New World Order and that the Moon was constructed by aliens.
Pamela and David had arguments just like any other couple but it was after their final argument in February 2008, that she fled the marital home and moved back to Arizona.
This marked the beginning of their separation.
Here’s what Pamela Icke told the Daily Mail:
“Before I left, I was on my knees, crying, so exhausted from it all I couldn’t move.
I said: “It’s over, I’ve got to go.
When I walked out of the door I turned round and he was at the window, watching me.
He didn’t want me to go. Even then, he thought it could work between us. How could something so powerful end?”
It was later that year that David Icke filed for divorce from Pamela Icke, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.
Their divorce was formally concluded in 2011.
According to Pamela Icke, one of the main reasons she and her husband split up is because he became suspicious that she is a shape-shifting alien
She is quoted as having told Daily Mail:
“He can’t figure me out — he thinks I might be a reptilian…Of course, I’m not.
David and I had a deep connection, we were meant to be together, but he turned against me.
I’ve been through utter bewilderment, pain, sorrow and heartbreak.”
