20 Most Popular Blogs On The Planet
Today I thought of coming up with a list of some of the most popular blogs on the planet now that we have been treated to lists such as the highest earnings blogs on the internet and the like. Although these influential blogs receive massive traffic, I didn’t focus so much on how much they earn but if the rule of traffic=sales still holds, then I bet they also make tons of money on a daily basis and maybe that’s why you’ll notice that some of them are also on the list of the highest earning blogs on the internet.
How I Came Up With The Most Popular Blogs On The Internet
In order to be unbiased when coming up with the blogs to appear on the most popular blogs list, I used both Alexa which is a site that provides information about top sites in the world. Some of the information provided by Alexa includes:
- Internet traffic stats and metrics
- Online reviews of a site
- Global rank of a site
- Number of sites linking to a site
- Top queries from search traffic
- Audience demographics
- Clickstream i.e. The Upstream Sites (Which sites users visited immediately before preceding to a site) and Downstream Sites (Where visitors go after leaving a particular site)
I mainly used the Alexa Global Rank to come up with the most popular blogs so you can rest assured I wasn’t biased.
Let me however mention that some of the sites you’ll see in the most popular blogs on the planet list are also some of the highest earning blogs on the planet so this also goes to show that traffic and income go hand in hand.
I believe I’ve said enough about the most popular blogs on the planet so I’ll end my “short” introduction here and let you view the 20 most popular blogs on the planet.
