Downsides To Using Social Spark As A Blog Monetization Tool
We’ve for the past couple of weeks been looking at what Social Spark is and how you can make money with it so we’ll today conclude the chapter on Social Spark by looking at the 3 major downside to using it as a way to make money with a blog.
I know this post might seem a bit strange given that we’ve in the past seen how Social Spark is a great way to make money with a blog but I would be pulling your leg if I only focused on the sweet part and not inform you about the “cavity” that comes along with it.
3 Major Downsides To Using Social Spark As A Blog Monetization Tool
1. Downside To Using Social Spark’s Sponsored Review Program (i.e. Offers)
At times there aren’t any sponsored reviews to write and when they are available, some of the advertisers take a long while to get back to you and this might result in a sponsored review passing through your fingers. I’ve personally missed writing sponsored reviews because the advertiser took too long to respond and I forgot to keep on checking.
I think the Social Spark staff should come up with a way of informing publishers that an advertiser is interested in doing business with them e.g. sending out emails.
2. Downside To Using Social Spark’s Affiliate Program (i.e. Deals)
At times the deals might not necessarily match one’s specialty of trade i.e.the niche. I sometimes see deals that are a bit distant from my niche and so I have to pass on them e.g. selling electronic stuff.
3. Downside To Using Social Spark’s IZEA Media Ads Program
Although it might not be a profitable as Google AdSense, Social Spark’s display ad network is a great way to monetize a blog but the only downside to using it is that it might not necessarily have a big ad inventory like the other big boys in the ad display market.
